PROGRAMME OPTIONS

 

1st group – up to 13 (born after 31 Dec 2008)

  1. Etude – select from:
  • Friedrich August Kummer– Etudes op. 57
  1. Two contrasting movements of a chosen sonata* by:
  • Antonio Vivaldi (Edition Ricordi, Bärenreiter or Editio Musica Budapest)
  • Benedetto Marcello (Editio Musica Budapest)
  • Georg Philipp Telemann (Bärenreiter HM 13)

or one of the following sonatas*:

  • Antonio Vandini– Sonata in F (Edition Schott)
  • Antonio Vandini– Sonata in G (Edition Schott)
  1. A work by a composer of the same nationality as the participant.

The duration of the programme cannot exceed 15 minutes

 

2nd group – up to 15 (born after 31 Dec 2006)

STAGE I

  1. Etude or cappriccio – select from:

  1. 1st and 2nd or 3rd and 4th movement of a selected sonata*:

  • Benedetto Marcello – 6 Sonatas (Editio Musica Budapest)
  • Georg Ph. Telemann – Sonata in D (Bärenreiter HM 13)
  • Antonio Vivaldi – 9 Sonatas (Edition Ricordi, Bärenreiter or Editio Musica Budapest)

The organisers welcome performances in original versions including basso continuo and can supply a continuo cellist to join the participants. The participants are also welcome to play with their own continuo cellist.
